Empty land and bush plots

Can NEMZIO work on empty land?

Yes. A visit to empty land records the plot from its edges and corners, the approach and the land around it, and what is on it now.

You don't need a building. On a plot, a visit typically covers:

  • the approach and access road
  • the corners or beacons, close enough to read a beacon number where there is one
  • views across the plot from different sides, including from the centre
  • the neighbouring plots

Over time this shows whether the land is still clear, whether anything has been put up or dumped on it, and whether the beacons are still in place. You can also ask for a boundary walk.
