Photos, video and checks
Can evidence be changed after it's captured?
Evidence is stored as it was received, with a digital fingerprint of each file recorded when it arrives. Once a visit is sent, its evidence can't be edited or swapped, and a shared record's fingerprint changes if the stored results or recorded file fingerprints change.
Each file gets a fingerprint when it arrives, and each original is checked against that fingerprint whenever it's used. If an original ever didn't match, it wouldn't be used, and the record would say so. Evidence from a sent visit can't be edited or replaced afterwards.
If you share a record, anyone with its code can check on the NEMZIO website, while the link is active (30 days by default), that its stored results and recorded file fingerprints are unchanged since you shared it. See Checking a shared record.
