Evidence and records
What is checked, what results mean, sharing a record.
Photos, video and checks
- What does NEMZIO actually check?Where and when the evidence was captured, how much of the property the visit covered, and whether the visit holds together. Integrity checks run on every capture.
- How many checks does NEMZIO perform?NEMZIO uses multiple capture and integrity checks involving factors such as location, timing, coverage and consistency. We don't publish the detailed verification methodology or thresholds.
- Does NEMZIO guarantee that a photo is genuine? No. NEMZIO captures evidence live, checks it and shows the results, which makes substituting evidence much harder than with ordinary photos. No system can guarantee that evidence hasn't been manipulated, and we don't claim one does.
- Can NEMZIO guarantee that nobody can fake a visit? No system makes manipulation impossible. Guided, live visits and multiple checks make it much harder than sharing photos, and the record shows its own uncertainty instead of overstating the evidence.
- What does “evidence coverage” mean?Which parts of the property were in view during the visit, and where each view was taken from. It shows that the person moved around the property, and what was missed.
- What does “Checks passed” mean? That every check which ran found no issue and the visit covered what it needed to. It's evidence about the visit, not a verdict on the contractor, the quality of the work or who owns the land.
- What does “Incomplete” mean? The visit didn't cover everything it needed to, usually because views were skipped or couldn't be reached. The record shows what's missing.
- What happens when a check fails? The record says which check failed and what that means, in plain words. The evidence is kept, and you decide what to do next.
- What are automated observations? On paid plans, AI describes what is visible in each visit: what changed since the last one, what is no longer visible from the same views, and an estimate of construction progress. They're always labelled as automated, and they can be wrong.
- Can evidence be changed after it's captured?Evidence is stored as it was received, with a digital fingerprint of each file recorded when it arrives. Once a visit is sent, its evidence can't be edited or swapped, and a shared record's fingerprint changes if the stored results or recorded file fingerprints change.
Records and sharing
- What is a property record? The property's history in NEMZIO: every visit, with its evidence and results, in date order. It belongs to you as the owner and stays with the property.
- Can I share a visit record?Yes, on paid plans. You get a record code and link to give to someone, such as a lender, a lawyer or family. They can open it on the NEMZIO website without an account.
- How can someone check a record I shared? They enter the record code on the NEMZIO website's Check a record page. While the link is active, it shows whether the record exists and whether its stored results and recorded file fingerprints are unchanged since it was shared.
- What is the monthly progress report? With NEMZIO Watch and above, each property gets a monthly report you can print or save as a PDF: the month's visits, results and progress in one document.
- Can my spouse or lawyer see the records?Yes. On paid plans you can invite someone as a viewer: they can follow the property's records but can't do visits or change anything.
- Can I see the original photos and videos?Yes. As the owner you can open every capture in full. People you invite can only do that if you give them permission.
Claims and evidence
- What is the difference between a claim and evidence?A claim is what you were told ("the roof is finished"). Evidence is what the visit captured. NEMZIO keeps them apart and, on paid plans, tests the claim against the visit's photos.
- What does “claim supported” mean? That the visit's photos show what the claim describes, from the views captured. It's an automated assessment of the evidence, not a guarantee and not a payment instruction.
- What if a claim isn't supported? The visit's evidence didn't show what the claim describes. That can mean it isn't done, that it wasn't visible from the views captured, or that the evidence is unclear.
- Does NEMZIO tell me whether to pay my contractor? No. NEMZIO doesn't make payment decisions. It gives you evidence about what was at the property, so you can decide with a record in hand.
